Activista Sweden has been active fighting for a hungerFREE world through various campaigns since 2007. 25.000 plates with messages to the United Nations were collected and delivered to the UN in 2008. A rolling car petition, a 2 meters huge wooden plate to the development minister and a call for new digital activism at the festival Dreamhack 2009 are amongst the great campaigns that Activista Sweden has been running.

When Sweden took over the EU leadership in July 2009, Activista was demanding “Climate Leadership now!”, protesting against the neutrality of the EU leaders in climate questions. Activistas in Sweden are now getting ready for new events on ActionAid’s hungerFREE campaign and for the COP 15.
